What happens next

For a refit or purchase enquiry we will tell you what has to be surveyed before any number is meaningful, and what a survey in that location will involve. For a build enquiry the first deliverable is a technical brief derived from your operating profile. We do not send a price the same day, because a price that arrives before the facts is a price that changes later.

Response and language

The desk works in English and Indonesian. WhatsApp is normally the fastest channel. For anything involving drawings, survey reports or specifications, email is better because the documents matter more than the speed.

How enquiries usually proceed

Most conversations follow one of three shapes, and knowing which one you are in saves everybody time.

The exploratory enquiry

You are considering entering the Komodo market and want to know whether the numbers work at all. The useful first output here is not a quotation, it is a reality check: what a boat capable of running your intended itinerary looks like, roughly what band of capital that sits in, how long before it earns, and what the ownership and licensing path requires. That conversation costs nothing and it regularly ends with an owner deciding to buy an existing vessel instead of building, or to postpone a season. Both are legitimate outcomes.

The vessel-specific enquiry

You have a boat, or a boat you are about to buy, and you need work scoped. The path is survey, then scope, then price. We will tell you what has to be inspected, whether it needs a haul-out, and what a realistic window looks like given yard slot pressure. If a haul-out cannot be arranged before purchase, we will say what that leaves unknown rather than pretending the inspection was complete.

The project enquiry

You are committing to a build and need it run properly. The first deliverable is a technical brief derived from your operating profile, and from there the sequence is comparable quotations, contract review, milestone schedule, supervision, trial and delivery.

What we will not do over email

Quote a refit from photographs. Confirm that a vessel is a good buy without inspecting it. Give a build price before a specification exists. Advise on Indonesian corporate structure or tax, which requires licensed counsel rather than a yard desk. And recommend a yard we would also be paid by, because that is the arrangement that makes an owner’s representative worthless.

Confidentiality

Vessel details, survey findings, budgets and project documentation stay between us and the owner. We do not publish client names, vessel names or project photographs, which is why there is no gallery on this site — see the capability page for what we publish instead.

Before you write

Much of what owners ask is already answered in detail on this site. The cost and timeline guide covers planning ranges, the compliance guide covers the regulatory layers, the specification guide covers the technical numbers, and the FAQ collects the short answers. Reading those first tends to make the first conversation much more productive.
